What Did BT’s Mike Galvin Tell The ICO?

Nothing.  Zip.  Nada.  Bugger all.

Don’t believe me?  Read the FoI request about Mr Galvin’s claim that “BT kept the ICO fully informed every step of the way” during the secret trials of Phorm’s technology.  Mr Galvin had the cojones to make this claim in the presence of witnesses present for an APComms Committee Inquiry evidence session.

This doesn’t come as a surprise given previous knowledge.

This just confirms that Ian Livingston’s declaration of ethics and standards is talk and nothing more.  Or does the expectation of honesty and good conduct only apply to non executive staff?

Mr Galvin has a letter winging its way to him which invites him to prove he isn’t peddling untruths.

I wonder if he will respond openly and honestly?
