Toying Around With A Slow Cooker

I’ve had a slow cooker for a while and used it for stews and soups with some success. Then a friend told me about the success he’d had with a slow cooker, a joint of beef, some good red wine and a few herbs. Sounded good so I got a beef joint and cracked open a half bottle of Merlot…

It was fantastic! The meat almost fell apart and was so tasty. The leftovers will feed me for a couple of days. If I don’t go mad and eat the lot!
